Danna, a mother of six and grandmother of fifteen, embodies the spirit of a nurturing “mother hen.” Her diverse background includes a career in education, where she once directed an elementary school choir chosen to perform at President Ronald Reagan’s Medal of Freedom Ceremony. This passion for teaching later inspired her to become a children’s author. Along with her husband, she dedicated eighteen months to a humanitarian mission in Turkey and Serbia. Much like many mothers, her hobbies include gardening, quilting, and raising chickens. The amusing situations and adventures she’s observed from these experiences serve as the inspiration for her heartfelt writing.
