Author Del H. Smith’s Discovering Life’s Purpose: Re-Examining the Club, offers a comprehensive analysis which reveals profound truths about God and His purpose for humanity. Additionally, it compares atheism with religious beliefs to ascertain if one can pinpoint the purpose of their existence with absolute confidence.

Smith’s parents were non-believers; thus, he grew up without a strong religious foundation. His mind rejected the existence of God and the Bible’s legitimacy because he believed it to be riddled with contradictions and errors. His decision to dismiss any perception experiences which did not meet any level of proof and instead focus solely on scientific methods ultimately led him to disregard religious beliefs and to take advantage of any chance to push believers to provide evidence for their beliefs. As more questions than answers developed in his mind, such as whether so many people could be mistaken regarding God’s existence and His love for humankind, he decided to embrace experiential learning – learning from experience – and conduct a thorough inquiry of the multi-denominational Christian Church, which he dubs “The Club.”

His research required him to adopt necessary corrections to his Knowledge as he expanded his Perception Set and enhanced his Process Learning. The results, which saw him go into a personal, spiritual relationship with God, were truly astounding. Additionally, he changed from having an intermittent relationship with Him to a consistent one. Additionally, he discovered that he was releasing his heart from a prison by his mind and developing a deep appreciation for belief.

Beyond the rules of traditional insight, Smith delves deeply into both spirituality and logic in what he views as the most important journey of his life. He is direct, truthful, and unapologetic about his internal struggles, presumptions, and ultimate quest for the truth. To uncover their life’s purpose, Smith encourages readers to apply this similar strategy – Experiential Learning – particularly in areas where they have concerns or uncertainties. He feels that the outcomes will astound and excite them. He has included a copy of the Experiential Learning textbook – The Saying Of Jesus – in the Appendix, in which he assembles everything Jesus is quoted as having said. This is intended for people who desire to delve further into and learn about their purpose from Jesus’ message.

Smith, which is the result of over 15 years of research on life’s purpose, will be a beneficial read for anybody wishing to travel the path of spiritual rejuvenation.
